Es el rumor que salió, pero después han rectificado en Dc-scene:

We just started work on a DC Project. It is not a Native port but
something similar.
The game has still a long way to go and more infos and screens will not
be released before we reach a beta stadium.

Este Rajirugi tiene una aire a Twinbee que no se lo puede quitar de encima... lo único que me preocupa por ahora -aparte de su conversión- es los gráficos tipo cel-shading tiendan a confundirse demasiado, sea balas, proyectiles y los mismos enemigos. un poco de confusión no viene mal, pero mucha...

Exclusive Interview G-Rev : Senko No Ronde

G-Rev is very famous among the video game industry as it developed one of the best shoot’em’ups of these late years : Border Down. G-Rev is also well appreciated by the Dreamcast community, as they decided to adapt the NAOMI arcade version of Border Down on our beloved system. G-Rev comes back to the front of the scene with an arcade NAOMI title called “Senko no Ronde”.

Interview of Hiroyuki Maruyama, director of the “Senko no Ronde” project, who is also famous for having worked for Treasure on Ikaruga Project.

Question: First of all, thank you very much to have accepted this interview. As a beginning could you introduce G-Rev ?

The five members of the company including myself belonged to the arcade development team of TAITO, we left this company in 2000 to create our own company in July the same year. After founding this firm, we worked for TREASURE and SEGA on different projects, after that we started to develop our own games under our own trademark. In 2001 our first arcade title was released, it is called “TOKIDOKI IDOL STAR SEEKER” and in 2003 we launched “BORDER DOWN”.
 
Question: You seem to be faithful to the NAOMI system whereas other competitors have launched their own systems (for example ATOMISWAVE that really uses the same architecture as NAOMI)? Could you explain the choices of G-Rev concerning NAOMI?

When we created the company, the most popular hardware and the higher-quality system was the NAOMI. When I worked for my former company (TAITO) I wanted to test this hardware, that is why we decided to develop on this system.

Question: Senko no Ronde seems to be very innovating as it melts up different games’ styles (shoot’em’up and versus fighting). Could you briefly describe us the game?

Briefly, this game allies versus fighting and also all the specifications of a shoot’em’up but I can’t tell you more. I would love to hear you say “oh yes ! I understand what you mean !”. (NB : Senko No Ronde can be considered as a shoot'em'up that will also have some Virtual-On like phasis).

Question: How many people work on this project? Did some of them belong to the Border Down project ?

The project began with four people inside G-Rev. Presently, there are six persons working on Senko No Ronde. Moreover, the design of the mechs, the soundtrack and the sound effects will be done by other companies we work with, so we can easily add some other persons working on this project. Among the Senko No Ronde project, three members took part of the Border Down project.

Question: To conclude our interview, a question that wonders every Dreamcast fan: will you adapt Senko No Ronde on Dreamcast as you did for Border Down ? Or will it be adapted on any other home system ?

That is a really difficult question. For the moment, what is sure is that we haven’t decided anything yet concerning adapting Senko No Ronde on home systems.

Thank you very much for this interview Mr. Maruyama and good luck for the next experiences of G-Rev, hoping that we will be able to play that game once on our Dreamcast system !

Actualización para el ¿rajirugi/radiac/radilgy? (a ver que nombre ponemos al final). Hablan del sistema de juego. Tres botones con 2 armas y los combos de puntuación parece que irán en función de la cobertura que tengamos...

Según la propia G.REV, SENKO NO RONDE ya está totalmente finalizado y aprobado.
Ahora a ver como se porta en los salones arcade...

The embassy occupation incident: Six years ago (space calendar 1478), the headquarters of the Aria Federation, the moon city Giovanni, the I embassy was occupied by an armed group. Two years later, The Aria army special forces broke in, the criminals self-destructed. Over 300 people died, including the attack force, the terrorists and employees.

Aria Federation: A giant empire spanning from Earth to Jupiter.

S.S.S.: Aria's special mission division, Special Space Service.

Rounders: The collective name of low gravity manned units for use in outer space. They are used for all manners of work outside of spaceships. Their shape is the result of numerous reinforcements and improvements. Recently, like automobiles, they have been modified to the users' tastes. Furthermore, ones used by those with the mark of "elites" have been named "highrounders".

Goddiver Company: From ballpoint pens to space colonies, the name of this economic conglomerate can be found on almost any product. Among their child companies are police forces, and even armies. As expected, they also develop and sell Rounders.

G.S.O.: Goddiver's private security organization

Motivalia Company: A powerful Rounder development group. They develop for the Aria army, but their main market is civilians.

Tsunami Company: The oldest manufacturer of Rounders. They developed for the old Aria government, but their recent models have not been competitive, and they mainly serve as a used parts dealer.
