It’s easy to compare Grounded to 1989’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - really, the only thing that was missing was Rick Moranis. Grounded’s small development team - only 13 or 14 Obsidian staffers are on this at present - takes what was a fun exercise in practical effects from the late 80s and turns it into a co-op survival game. Up to four players can join together to survive the dangers of the backyard after they’ve been shrunk down to ant size in a science experiment gone awry.
